Activity

We occasionally hold workshops or discussion meetings on topics related to anonymous networks and internet freedom. Whether these events are online or in-person depends on the target audience for each event. Ongoing or past events will be documented on this page.

  • Global Gathering 2026 September 4–6, 2026 (three days), booth on Sunday 6 September, 13:00 to 15:00 WEST Estoril, Portugal, Booth 6

    The one-page version for people at the venue. Booth slot, the twelve browser-side tools on the table that keep working with the network off, three 3D interactives about Tor, and the passkey research on keeping encrypted data on your own device.

    Intended audience: anyone at Global Gathering, and anyone who wants to know what the community brought.

  • COSCUP 2026 Anonymity Networks Community track August 8–9, 2026 (two days) National Taiwan University of Science and Technology（國立台灣科技大學）TR-510

    Two days of community talks and workshops covering network censorship, browser tracking, campus Tor nodes, data-privacy rights, a personal privacy guide, and anonymous payments, including a session co-organized with ETHTaipei.

    Intended audience: news media, independent journalists, civil-society groups, NGO staff, open-source and tech communities.

    Call for proposals for the community track. Topics on anonymity, privacy, and digital security.

    Intended audience: speakers and workshop proposers (researchers, practitioners, NGO and civil-society staff, civic-tech developers, open-source community members).
